I have object dock 2.2 and with windows 10 the autohide feature is not as responsive as with windows 7.  Sometimes it just does not want to pull down the tabs to select apps.  It takes several tries before it works and then goes back to not working.  Anybody with a suggestion as to how to fix this?

Thanks

Tony

In my enviroment Win 10 Pro Objectdock 2.2 Autohide works perfectly.
Maybe performance issue? Go settings and make it light.

mine: core i7-2600k geforce gtx580 8gb ram

<edit>ah,of course you need to touch the edge of the screen to show ObjectDock

Newbie question ... where is "Autohide"? I can't seem to locate it at all. And would changing that setting hide the tabs or just the icons?

Go to Position, then under More Options, click 'Reserve edge of screen'.

sorry made mistake ignore this post

hmmm ... I don't have a "More Options" on that submenu. I have:

Detach from edge

Tabs always on top

---------

Re-order tabs

---------

Lock dock position

Lock icon dragging

on Mar 17, 2016

Right click on the dock and go to settings, then click auto hide.

Nope. No auto hide there either.

Load at Startup

Hide the Windows Taskbar

Enable Aero Peek on running tasks

Open files via drag & drop

(Button) Performance Options

(Button) Troubleshooting Options

Show indicator under running programs

Label font:

Attention effect:

(Button) Advanced Tweaks

Another thing I noticed ... changing the label font doesn't actually change any of the displayed text. I was trying to shrink the size of the "Names", but nothing happened when I change from Tahoma 14 to Tahoma 10.

What version of ObjectDock are you using?

on Mar 17, 2016

2.20.0.862 ... I just downloaded it last night.

I have the same version on Win10. When I right click on the dock a drop down box appears and on the top is settings. Clicking on that shows the auto hide function. It should be there.

When I right click, I get:

Add Tab

Edit Tab...

Remove Tab

----------

Add >

View >

Position >

----------

Settings...

Quit

Got it! I had "Tabs always on top" selected. I unchecked that and now it works as I was hoping. Thank you.

Now, if I can just figure out how to change the size of the text for the "Name", it should be usable.

You can adjust the size of the tabs under Size in the configuration.

on Mar 18, 2016

Yeah, I adjusted the size of the tab, I want to adjust the font that the "Name" (Icon properties - Title) shows in.
